2015 Jeep Renegade EPA Fuel Economy Hits 22/31 MPG with 2.4-Liter

EPA fuel economy numbers are starting to filter in for Jeep's new compact SUV. When paired with front-wheel drive, a 2.4-liter engine, and a nine-speed automatic, the 2015 Jeep Renegade is rated at 22/31 mpg city/highway for a combined 25 mpg.
Unlike other mini-crossovers on the market, the Renegade offers a potent 180-hp 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine as an option (standard with Limited and Trailhawk trims). That is probably why ratings for this combination come in lower than the 31-mpg Honda HR-V, the 30-mpg Nissan Juke, the 29-mpg Chevrolet Trax, and the 28-mpg Mini Cooper…

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in latest Head 2 Head

Watch the Youtube video here:

"Olympian" is one of the terms we use to signify the greatest height, the seat of the gods. Yet Mt. Olympus is the second-highest peak in the Balkans ranges, overshadowed by the crest at Musala in Bulgaria's Rila mountains. Both great heights, but one is a little higher. That's how we get the Olympian Chevy Camaro ZL1 pitched at the Musalic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Motor Trend's latest episode of Head 2 Head.

The side-by-side spec sheet is filled with farcical numbers. For the ZL1, that's…

Ram van leaves Transit stuck in snow

Ram ProMaster vs For Transit in snowAfter snow flooded large swaths of the nation, Ram showed off the prowess of its front wheel drive ProMaster in a short new commercial, showing the van racing a Ford Transit up a hill in Houghton, Michigan.

It did not take long before the Transit got stuck on the mild 20% grade, in fairly shallow snow.

A Ram spokesman wrote the video was filmed while the vans were empty, but that they had the same results when the vans were loaded up to half their payload capacity.

Both vans are relatively new to the US, but are based on established…

If it wasn't featured in Kelly Blue Book's recent "Best Resale Value" awards in San Francisco, there's a chance that it doesn't.

Now, if you've purchased your car with no intention of selling it or trading it in in the future, then resale value isn't very important. At least not financially. But typically, when a car has a consistently high resale value, then it’s a car that also…
