Recently, it was revealed that the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has earned the title of "Overall Best Family Car," as awarded by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA). This is the fourth straight year that an FCA-brand vehicle has taken home top honors at the annual Family Car Challenge, and the third time that a version of the Chrysler Pacifica has received it.

GAAMA aims to increase the automotive media's level of professionalism, offering a forum where those working in the automotive industry and automotive journalists can get together for everyone's benefit. The Family Car Challenge is the only industry competition to evaluate vehicles specifically with the needs and wants of today's families top of mind, with the members scoring each vehicle in a variety of categories after driving them on suburban routes through Alpharetta, GA.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid takes the revolutionary Pacifica minivan, which reinvigorated the category upon its introduction, and adds an advanced hybrid powertrain. This, the first electrified vehicle to be offered in the minivan segment, is rated to earn more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode, and offers an all-electric driving range of over 30 miles.

The forthcoming 2020 Jeep Gladiator pickup also received an award from the GAAMA, taking home the title of "Best Family Pickup Truck." The Gladiator, which offers the open-air freedom that defines the Jeep brand, is available with your choice of three powertrain combinations and a host of modern technologies.
